WOW !! This is a great place to tantalize your sweet tooth. This is a most stop by when driving in Portola. The burgers are also good.

Thanks, James at Applegate Budget Storage, Portola

We stoped in to get an Sunday ice cream  on our way outta town. This place has the best ice cream in town!! It was really busy for a Sunday too, and a little slow because they make everything fresh so it takes a little longer.

We just stopped in for an ice cream cone.  It was soft serve, but it tasted like real ice cream, really good!  We didn't get any food, but other peoples' food looked good.  Service was fast and friendly, and the place was clean.  A little roadside treasure.

Nice spot in a small town for ice cream, hamburgers and fries.

I swear every small town has that spot just like this- even the tiny Iowa town I grew up in (Tiger's Den).  Easy walk up to window to order and a handful of picnic tables out front to eat at, no inside dinning. Burgers, chicken strips, fries, onions rind and a punch of ice cream delights. The burger was pretty juicy and had good flavor, better than Archie's for a lesser price. Nice thick vanilla malt, go small the large is almost too big.

Just a great stop for a snack after a few hours of golf or hiking in the area

Very sad, we went on a Sunday the sign said close at 7pm. They closed their doors at 6:40pm and wouldn't serve anybody any food because they were TIRED!  The Older Lady said to go back to Reno and eat at McDonald's then she slapped the glass

    We will NOT be back!!

We used to go every year the kids looked forward to the milkshakes and Burgers.

Drive the extra miles...go to Graeagle or to Quincy to the Polka Dot.
